"Do not be quick to take offence, for it is fools who nurse resentment." King Solomon

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Mayor Anthony Williams acted "niggardly'' in accepting the resignation of an aide who used that word at a staff meeting, the NAACP's chairman said Thursday, lamenting how racial sensibilities are so tender that innocent people can be hurt.

"This whole episode speaks loudly to where we are on issues of race,'' said Julian Bond. Even "imagined slights are catapulted to the front burner.''

"...Seems to me the mayor has been niggardly in his judgment on this issue,'' Bond said pointedly. "You hate to think you have to censor your language to meet other people's lack of understanding.''

The word "niggardly" means: "1: grudgingly mean about spending or granting: begrudging, 2: provided in meanly limited supply or stingy." The word might be used to say, "Mr. Clinton, you are being niggardly about the way you keep the surplus of our taxes to increase your political power instead of returning the surplus to the givers." Why someone would have to quit his job for using that word is beyond me. Perhaps the employees and the mayor who work at that office should have gotten a little more schooling and know what words mean. That is the value of education. One can know that water does not mean waiter. Niggardly does not mean nigger and pit does not mean spit. If one cannot gain an education, he should probably take up employment that does not require one. Even so, without knowing the meaning of words, one can become offended rather easily.

I think Washington, D.C. does not have a Webster's dictionary in it. People don't know what words mean there. The president even questions the definition of the word "is." He says, "it depends what your definition of what "is" is. Since dictionaries are not used in Washington, what do they use? They use feelings to define the meaning of a word. If a word feels like it should be bad, then it is bad. If the word feels good, then it must mean something good. Politicians are experts at using words that feel good but mean nothing at all in reality.

The word that everyone is arguing about these days is nigger. There are a lot of words out there which are racial slurs and they are used by all races. These words include white trash, nigger, spic, wop, whitey, Chink, Jap, beaner, gringo, Polack, kraut, slant eyes, coonass, redskin, WASP, wetbacks, yellow, honky, coon etc., etc.

Webster's dictionary defines one of the meanings of the word nigger as: "a member of a socially disadvantaged class of persons." Now, if a nigger is a member of a socially disadvantaged class of persons, it could be used to describe anyone of any color who is socially disadvantaged. If someone called me a nigger, I would sit back and consider, am I socially disadvantaged? Perhaps I am. I think the Iraqis are socially disadvantaged right about now, thanks to Mr. Clinton and his high society bomb droppers. The Iraqis sure don't have the social advantages that crowd has.

The officials in government love to play the race card. The Albanians and the Serbs are having some conflicts. Notice how they always say "ethnic" Albanians. They have to put that word "ethnic" in there. They talk a lot about how the Serbs are killing the ethnic Albanians, but they don't say anything about how the ethnic Albanians are killing the Serb police there. If we had a group of ethnics killing our police, you can bet Mr. Clinton would speedily talk out of the other side of his mouth.

Letters are real funny things. You can sure get people mad by placing some letters in certain positions and you can make people feel real proud by placing the letters in other positions. Do you know nigger has the same exact letters in it as ginger? I know a woman named Ginger. She doesn't seem to be too upset about it. Put the letters in a box and shake them up and you come up with a whole different word. Why do people get mad when the letters are in one position, but they don't get mad when they are in another? Same letters.

I have people call me names sometimes. My e-mail gets real hot. Some of my e-mails are so full of expletives, I have to trash them right away lest they burn my hard drive up. When some people read what I write they sometimes feel offended. I wonder why people make themselves feel offended after I write something. Stop doing that to yourself if you are one of those folks. Remember this, I cannot offend you, and I cannot make you feel bad. You do that all by yourself. I just say words and I put the words down in a certain order. After that, the reader makes up just about whatever he wants to make up out of what I say. When I speak words they are just sounds. Why should someone be upset because I make a sound? The sounds I make don't make any difference. The people hearing the sounds make up all kinds of things. Look at how our president makes sounds. They don't mean anything they sound like. He says honest and true, but he doesn't mean by that what I mean when I say honest and true. When he says human rights he means a totally different thing than I mean. When he says I didn't do such and such, it doesn't mean what I mean when I say I didn't do such and such. You see, words mean nothing. We understand them to mean what we want to understand them to mean.

Everyone seems so afraid of the N word. Don't they know there is no word spelled N? There is no such thing as an N word. Now that is stupid for sure. I won't know what they mean when they say N word. Maybe they mean nice or nanny. Perhaps they mean never or nearly. How do I know what they mean? I'm not a mind reader.

Jesus took that name. He was socially disadvantaged. They crucified Him. I would say that is socially disadvantaged. He couldn't make any friends with the Scribes and Pharisees. He was poor and acquainted with grief. They didn't call Him a nigger in those days, but they did call Him a devil. I think being called a devil is worse than nigger. I don't think Jesus got offended when people called Him names. They called Him bastard. That word isn't real flattering, but Jesus didn't worry about words. He looked at people's spirit and at their heart.

I think that is what happened in Washington. The person who was offended over "niggardly" could not see with spiritual eyes. He or she could only judge by what they thought they heard. That is the wonderful thing about having God in the heart, one can see past sounds and letter combinations and hear the heart of another person. Not many people in Washington can do that anymore.

A demoniac came running down the hill after Jesus one day and he was cursing and all that, but Jesus just stood there and the demoniac stopped. He then had the devil leave the demoniac and he was healed in his spirit. All the words that the demoniac said didn't mean a thing to Jesus. He didn't care at all. Devils get all offended at words. They hate everything. Ask for a small glass of water and they hear you calling them a low class waiter.

I heard a black man on television a while back saying that blacks call each other nigger all the time. It's white people that are not allowed to use the word. I thought to myself, that sounds discriminatory to me. Why are black folks allowed to use some words that white folks can't use because they're white? I don't know any words that black folks are not allowed to say and only white folks can say. Isn't that like the white only restrooms some years back? Now we have black only words. Gets pretty crazy, doesn't it? I think people who get offended over words are the true haters in our society. White, black or any other colored persons are haters if they get offended. Love does not get offended. I can prove that. It is written, "Charity (love) suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth." It says that love is not easily provoked. That is a mistranslation. The Greek says, love is not provoked. I think men should give up being provoked over words. It goes nowhere.

I heard awhile back that some hispanics were mad because Taco Bell used a little Chihuahua that had a Mexican accent. When I saw the little Chihuahua, I just wanted to hug him. I wanted to take him home. Why get offended at something that makes one look good? I think people that have to always look good want to be God or something. If everyone isn't bowing at their feet, they get offended. Well folks, I've got some news for you. No one is going to bow at your feet. They are all busy trying to get you to bow at their feet. Let's just get some reality here.

I want to address the next little statement, especially to African Americans. I would like to say what I think is really happening. Everyone, and, especially you, are being made hyper-sensitive to words for a very important purpose. There are those who control the media who want to stir up so much hate that when the whole things falls, we will be killing each other as fast as we can. When you fall for this offense, you fall for the trap placed before you. You see, if you can be made angry enough because someone called you a name, you may do something like hit them or even burn their house down. That pleases the cabal because now you can be put in a prison and work in the slave labor camps real cheap. All that over a word. Do you think that using all the right word stuff going around these days is designed to make everyone love each other? No, indeed. It is to make everyone hate each other. The Bible talks about this power:

"And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. (Daniel 8:23-25, KJV)

These days are the days of this power. He understands dark sentences or mysteries. In other words, he knows how to work the system. Also, he causes craft to prosper in his hand. He's deceitful and crafty. He magnifies himself, but he seeks to destroy wonderfully, especially those who call themselves Christians. There is a war on these days and it is between those who worship the state and those who worship God. That battle is what is going on in Washington right now. The Democrats have taken the side of the state worship. That is -- what the government says is what is right and not what the law of God says is right. The Republicans have taken the other side of principle. Representative Hyde stated, Americans want to know we still believe in something. I'm not saying all the Republicans are virtuous, I am saying this is how the battle is aligning itself.

This crafty power which rules the United Nations and the Whitehouse is pretty tricky. The way they destroy people is to get them to start fighting amongst themselves and then this tricky power stands back and acts the part of savior or peacemaker. Haven't you heard of peacekeepers? The Serbs are charging that the U.S is arming the ethnic Albanians. These armaments allegedly give the Albanians some power to fight the Serbs. Then the crafty one comes in and plays peacemaker. The chief Washington peacemakers says that the ethnic Albanians should be able to live as they want. That sounds nice but what about the people in this country who want to live the way they want. Nothing is said about them. Pretty tricky. The crafty one also has publically stated that it will arm religious elements in Iraq to fight Saddam. What happens is the crafty one then gets Iraqis to kill each other. Christians have been fighting in the Irish Republic for years. This power got Christian nations to go to war with each other in WWII. Those nations were Germany, Britain and America among others. That is how craft gets the people to destroy each other. The Bible calls him the lawless one.

When the president gets into trouble at home, he does his rounds in all the black churches and they fall all over him for the attention. It makes them feel like he is their only friend. Never seems to enter your mind that they are being used.

Well, this word thing and getting offended over them is the same thing as all else. This crafty one is getting folks so pent up with hatred over words and rights that when the hammer falls, blacks and whites, Asians and Hispanics will be killing each other as fast as they can. Women will get raped and the Jews will get exterminated. The whole world is being set up for its overthrow, rather than being made a happier, more peaceful place. What a simple way to achieve population control. What a simple way to get rid of the excess population. Get the people to do it. When the smoke clears, crafty goes in an gets to "organize" the remaining pieces. Pretty slick. The black population might feel it is finally getting what it deserves and getting the respect it deserves. Have you asked your representatives in Congress why our prisons have a 70% black population working in the prison slave labor camps? I would like to give you a little counsel. When someone calls you a name, even a very bad name, don't sweat it. I would sure like to see the folks "be cool." That would just make the media furious since they could not make them furious. The people that want to reduce your population would have to find another way.

When I was fifteen years of age, I got a job working for a man who owned an electronics store. My boss would call me all sorts of names and none of them complimentary. I just enjoyed that so much. The more names he called me, the more I loved him. After a couple years, he made me manager of his store. He took me to his house and let me swim in his pool and I got to drive his new car.

When I was in the Navy, I had an Italian friend. I called him a wop. I don't know what that meant, but it had something to do with Italians. He called me a fish. He called me that because he always borrowed money from me and never paid it back. Whenever I lent him money, he would smile at me and say, "fish." That means fool or sucker. I just loved to be called fish. It was as if he were saying, I sure love you. Thanks for the money.

The Bible doesn't have many nice words to call us. It calls us a worm and a lot of other not so complimentary words. I sure feel loved when God calls me a worm. "You worm, Jacob." Yes, Lord, you are very right about that.

Well, these days the pot is just about boiling over. This is what it was designed to do. With just a little eyesight we could all see through this facade, but some humans are a little more stupid and animal-like than others. Whatever color they are, they are the ones who get offended for a word.

"Sticks and stones may break my bones
but names will never hurt me."
-A wise man
