"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes
here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he
shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an
outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or
birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in
very fact an American, and nothing but an American...
There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an
American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have
room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red
flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just
as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are
hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the
English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is
a loyalty to the American people."
--Theodore Roosevelt, 1919
U.S. Fate Hangs in Balance
Today, March 27, 2006 the Senate Judiciary Committee
takes up the the issue of immigration reform. They will talk about the
need for guest workers and border enforcement, but no one will have the
nerve to admit that Mexico is invading the United States with hostile
intent.
"America watched as an alien army marched through our streets and
demanded surrender," said Glenn Spencer of American Patrol. "Yet, our
President is fighting for their side, and our Congress refuses to face
the threat - it is truly the age of insanity."

They openly state they have "The armor, the infantry and the artillery" to
wage
war here.
This video PROVES beyond any doubt, the people marching in our streets under
Mexican and other foreign flags, over pending immigration legislation, are
engaged in a WAR against our nation.
The U.S. Government has failed its duty to protect this land from these
invaders; invaders who are openly stating they intend to takeover a portion
of
this land and carve out their own "Mestizo nation of Aztlan."

ARE IMMIGRATION
DEMOS FRONT FOR AZTLAN?
Thursday, March 30, 2006 - FreeMarketNews.com
Are the recent demonstrations all
across America actually pro-immigration, or are they a cover for the
reconquista movement, which intends to restore the American Southwest to
Mexican control?
Paul Joseph Watson on an Internet news site cites Voz de Aztlan leader
Ernesto Cienfuegos, who during the riots in France last year predicted
similar scenes of chaos would be coming to the streets of America. On
November 8, Watson notes, Cienfuegos declareded that, "Today, here in Los
Angeles, we are already seeing ominous signs of an impending social
explosion that will make the French rebellion by Muslim and immigrant youths
seem tame by comparison. All the ingredients are present including a hostile
and racist police as in France."
Watson reminds us that the Aztlan
goal of "la reconquista" is "to cede and take over the entirety of the
southern states by any means necessary and impose a Communist militant
dictatorship." He predicts that "President Bush's blanket amnesty program
goes a long way to helping the extremists achieve their aim." He also notes
that "If the racist 'Sensenbrenner Legislation' passes the U.S. Senate,
there is no doubt that a massive civil disobedience movement will emerge."-

Red Alert:
Amnesty for Tens of Millions of Invaders on the Horizon
By Selwyn Duke - SelwynDuke@aol.com
While the invasion of our nation through the southern border continues
unabated, our fearless leaders are once again busy cooking up cures that are
worse than the disease. The latest scheme is a form of de facto amnesty
euphemistically called the “Secure America and Orderly Immigration Act.” And
if it passes, it could be America’s final act.
Authored by Ted Kennedy and John McCain and poised to emerge from the Senate
Judiciary Committee, the bill has many elements, the most troubling of which
is that it offers people here illegally “a path to citizenship.”
Here’s how it works: creating a “new H-5A temporary visa category,” illegal
aliens would have to register with the government, pay two-thousand dollars
worth of fines in total, have a criminal background check and pass an
English literacy exam. Then, if they were employed, they could apply for
citizenship in six years. What’s wrong with this, you ask?
First of all, just like any other plan that allows those who entered our
nation illegally to stay, it rewards the very behavior we want to eliminate.
It sends a clear message to the world: break into America like a thief in
the night, fly under the radar when you have to (and accept government
benefits courtesy of the average taxpayer sucker when they’re offered),
persevere long enough, and sooner or later some feckless, pusillanimous
American politicians will grant you amnesty. Come one, come all. ‘Tis the
land of the free ride and a home for the knaves.
When did we forget that rewarding bad behavior begets more bad behavior?
As if this weren’t bad enough, this bill would have a culturally toxic side
effect. It would lead to the naturalization of many millions of immigrants
in addition to the ones already here illegally, and this could occur during
just the next decade. But before I delve further, it’s time for a little
background.
For most of our history we were much like any other nation. We understood
that if immigration was to be allowed, it must be limited and controlled,
ensuring your land’s stability and culture will not be threatened by too
great an infusion of incongruous and perhaps unassimilable cultural
elements. Thus, while the number of immigrants did fluctuate throughout our
history, prior to the mid-1960s our shores saw an average of only about
250,000 annually. Moreover, realizing the importance of safeguarding our
culture, we had (since 1924) admitted immigrants in accordance with the
“National Origins Act,” which mandated that a given immigrant group would be
allowed entry to the extent to which it was represented in the general US
population. But all this changed in 1965.
What happened that year? The “Immigration Reform Act of 1965” is what
happened. This legislation changed both the face of immigration and that of
America, as it caused legal immigration levels to spike upwards to about one
million a year. Additionally, it created a situation in which 85% of
immigrants now come from the Third World and half from Spanish-speaking
countries, factors which have had a jarring effect upon our culture. Press
two for Spanish anyone?
Now, you may ask, how is this germane to the current poisoned pill bill?
Well, one of the authors of the disastrous 1965 legislation was . . . guess
who? Yep, you’ve got it. The poster boy for 24/7 gin mill operation himself,
old Ted Kennedy.
But now let’s fast forward to his present attempt at social engineering. Why
would the current legislation amount to a prescription for unprecedented
immigration?
First of all, it has been estimated that perhaps as many as 20 million
illegals currently reside in our nation. Of course, we don’t know how many
would avail themselves of the amnesty offer, but let’s say, for argument’s
sake, that “only” twelve million ultimately qualified for citizenship. Well,
then in six years you’d have twelve million immigrants added to the six
million who would have entered legally during that period, the already
excessive number allowed by Kennedy’s 1965 brainchild.
But it gets even worse.
Since many of these invaders would be married, upon naturalization they
would be able to bring their families here as well, perhaps doubling their
number. In other words, we could be talking about increasing our legal
population by 8 percent (24 million) or more during the next ten years.
Still, though, there’s more dire news.
The bill doesn’t offer much of substance in the way of proposals to stop
illegal immigration, presenting, in typical politician style, nothing but
lip service in that regard. But even if it did, with the track record of our
government, one involving a wink-and-a-nod steadfast refusal to close the
borders, why should we believe it?
Thus, millions more invaders would pour into our land, making her even more
“secure and orderly” and creating a “need” for yet another “temporary visa,”
another amnesty scheme, another kick in the teeth to law-abiding Americans.
And with the pro-invasion lobby buttressed with tens of millions more voting
partisans, its momentum would be irresistible. It would be mourning in
America.
Of course, I’m sure Kennedy and company will peddle this act with all the
salesmanship of a used car dealer. But if the song and dance routine sounds
convincing, just consider the bill of goods Kennedy sold us when lobbying
for his 1965 piece of genius. According to Peter Brimelow in his piece The
Case against Immigration as We Know It, Kennedy claimed that,
First, our cities will not be flooded with a million immigrants annually.
Under the proposed bill, the present level of immigration remains
substantially the same. . . . Secondly, the ethnic mix of this country will
not be upset. . . . Contrary to the charges in some quarters, [the bill]
will not inundate America with immigrants from any one country or area, or
the most populated and deprived nations of Africa and Asia. . . . In the
final analysis, the ethnic pattern of immigration under the proposed measure
is not expected to change as sharply as the critics seem to think.
I ask you, would you buy an immigration bill from this man? Fool me once,
shame on Kennedy. Fool me twice, shame on my stupidity.
And don’t think I’m letting John McCain off the hook. While the Arizona
senator was fighting for his country when Kennedy conjured up his first nail
in America’s cultural coffin, now, sadly, McCain is most assuredly fighting
against it. He appears more and more a true Manchurian candidate. It’s time
for the old soldier to just fade away.
The defenders of the Insecure America and Disorderly Immigration Act protest
that it doesn’t amount to amnesty, saying that the invaders must admit their
wrongdoing and pay a fine. My, my, aren’t we becoming Draconian? I wonder,
does this work with other crimes as well? I mean, can I burglarize Ted
Kennedy’s mansion and opt for the punishment of confession and a modest
monetary payment? Hey, I can issue mea culpas as well as the next guy. And I
can even do it in an American accent.
The consequence of coming here illegally is supposed to be deportation.
Thus, anything short of that is a form of amnesty. And we should march on
Washington with pitchforks. We were promised the immigration levels (already
excessive) of the Immigration Act of 1965. To now peddle this legislative
sleight of hand – which would cause the nation within our nation to
metastasize further – and tell us it’s in our best interests is a true slap
in the face.
It’s imperative that we deport the invaders and institute a moratorium on
all immigration so we can get our own cultural house in order. The last
thing we need is amnesty, and this bill is cultural suicide.
Any politician who supports it should be considered a traitor.
Activism note: While this bill will probably hit a roadblock in the House,
it seems to have the votes to emerge from Senate committee and may even be
passed by the Senate itself. Please use the information below, contact your
representatives and let them know in no uncertain terms that you’ll vote
against any politician who supports such insanity. Deportation is not a
dirty word.

nothing.” – Edmund Burke

Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)
"Any person who . . . encourages or induces an illegal alien to . . . reside
. . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence
is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each
illegal alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . . . fined under
title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both."
Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA
274A(a)(1)(A):
A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local
government) commits a federal felony when she or he:
assists an illegal alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the
U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or
assisting him or her to obtain employment, or
encourages that illegal alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her
to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way,
or knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.
Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and
forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime. Anyone
employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his or her
work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers
violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of
their vehicles or property. In addition, individuals or entities who engage
in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit)
immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble
damages and injunctive relief.
Recruitment and Employment of Illegal Aliens
It is unlawful to hire an alien, to recruit an alien, or to refer an illegal
alien for a fee, knowing the illegal alien is unauthorized to work in the
United States. It is equally unlawful to continue to employ an illegal alien
knowing that the illegal alien is unauthorized to work.
It is unlawful to hire any individual for employment in the United States
without complying with employment eligibility verification requirements.
Requirements include examination of identity documents and completion of
Form I-9 for every employee hired. Employers must retain all I-9s, and, with
three days' advance notice, the forms must be made available for inspection.
Employment includes any service or labor performed for any type of
remuneration within the United States, with the exception of sporadic
domestic service by an individual in a private home. "Day laborers" or other
casual workers engaged in any compensated activity (with the above
exception) are employees for purposes of immigration law. An employer
includes an agent or anyone acting directly or indirectly in the interest of
the employer. For purposes of verification of authorization to work,
employer also means an independent contractor, or a contractor other than
the person using the illegal alien labor.
The use of temporary or short-term contracts cannot be used to circumvent
the employment authorization verification requirements. If employment is to
be for less than the usual three days allowed for completing the I-9 Form
requirement, the form must be completed immediately at the time of hire.
An employer has constructive knowledge that an employee is an illegal
unauthorized worker if a reasonable person would infer it from the facts.
Constructive knowledge constituting a violation of federal law has been
found where (1) the I-9 employment eligibility form has not been properly
completed, including supporting documentation, (2) the employer has learned
from other individuals, media reports, or any source of information
available to the employer that the alien is unauthorized to work, or (3) the
employer acts with reckless disregard for the legal consequences of
permitting a third party to provide or introduce an illegal alien into the
employer's work force. Knowledge cannot be inferred solely on the basis of
an individual's accent or foreign appearance.
Actual specific knowledge is not required. For example, a newspaper article
stating that ballrooms depend on an illegal alien work force of dance
hostesses was held by the courts to be a reasonable ground for suspicion
that unlawful conduct had occurred.
It is illegal for nonprofit or religious organizations to knowingly assist
an employer to violate employment sanctions, regardless of claims that their
convictions require them to assist illegal aliens. Harboring or aiding
illegal aliens is not protected by the First Amendment. It is a felony to
establish a commercial enterprise for the purpose of evading any provision
of federal immigration law. Violators may be fined or imprisoned for up to
five years.
Encouraging and Harboring Illegal Aliens
It is a violation of law for any person to conceal, harbor, or shield from
detection in any place, including any building or means of transportation,
any illegal alien who is in the United States in violation of law. Harboring
means any conduct that tends to substantially facilitate an alien to remain
in the U.S. illegally. The sheltering need not be clandestine, and harboring
covers aliens arrested outdoors, as well as in a building. This provision
includes harboring an alien who entered the U.S. legally but has since lost
his legal status.
An employer can be convicted of the felony of harboring illegal aliens who
are his employees if he takes actions in reckless disregard of their illegal
status, such as ordering them to obtain false documents, altering records,
obstructing INS inspections, or taking other actions that facilitate the
alien's illegal employment. Any person who within any 12-month period hires
ten or more individuals with actual knowledge that they are illegal aliens
or unauthorized workers is guilty of felony harboring. It is also a felony
to encourage or induce an alien to come to or reside in the U.S. knowing or
recklessly disregarding the fact that the alien's entry or residence is in
violation of the law. This crime applies to any person, rather than just
employers of illegal aliens. Courts have ruled that "encouraging" includes
counseling illegal aliens to continue working in the U.S. or assisting them
to complete applications with false statements or obvious errors. The fact
that the alien is a refugee fleeing persecution is not a defense to this
felony, since U.S. law and the UN Protocol on Refugees both require that a
refugee must report to immigration authorities without delay upon entry to
the U.S.
The penalty for felony harboring is a fine and imprisonment for up to five
years. The penalty for felony alien smuggling is a fine and up to ten years'
imprisonment. Where the crime causes serious bodily injury or places the
life of any person in jeopardy, the penalty is a fine and up to twenty
years' imprisonment. If the criminal smuggling or harboring results in the
death of any person, the penalty can include life imprisonment. Convictions
for aiding, abetting, or conspiracy to commit alien smuggling or harboring,
carry the same penalties. Courts can impose consecutive prison sentences for
each alien smuggled or harbored. A court may order a convicted smuggler to
pay restitution if the illegal alien smuggled qualifies as a victim under
the Victim and Witness Protection Act. Conspiracy to commit crimes of
sheltering, harboring, or employing illegal aliens is a separate federal
offense punishable by a fine of up to $10,000 or five years' imprisonment.
Enforcement
A person or entity having knowledge of a violation or potential violation of
employer sanctions provisions may submit a signed written complaint to the
INS office with jurisdiction over the business or residence of the potential
violator, whether an employer, employee, or agent. The complaint must
include the names and addresses of both the complainant and the violator,
and detailed factual allegations, including date, time, and place of the
potential violation, and the specific conduct alleged to be a violation of
employer sanctions. By regulation, the INS will only investigate third-party
complaints that have a reasonable probability of validity. Designated INS
officers and employees, and all other officers whose duty it is to enforce
criminal laws, may make an arrest for violation of smuggling or harboring
illegal aliens.
State and local law enforcement officials have the general power to
investigate and arrest violators of federal immigration statutes without
prior INS knowledge or approval, as long as they are authorized to do so by
state law. There is no extant federal limitation on this authority. The 1996
immigration control legislation passed by Congress was intended to encourage
states and local agencies to participate in the process of enforcing federal
immigration laws. Immigration officers and local law enforcement officers
may detain an individual for a brief warrantless interrogation where
circumstances create a reasonable suspicion that the individual is illegally
present in the U.S. Specific facts constituting a reasonable suspicion
include evasive, nervous, or erratic behavior; dress or speech indicating
foreign citizenship; and presence in an area known to contain a
concentration of illegal aliens. Hispanic appearance alone is not
sufficient. Immigration officers and police must have a valid warrant or
valid employer's consent to enter workplaces or residences. Any vehicle used
to transport or harbor illegal aliens, or used as a substantial part of an
activity that encourages illegal aliens to come to or reside in the U.S. may
be seized by an immigration officer and is subject to forfeiture. The
forfeiture power covers any conveyances used within the U.S.
RICO —Citizen Recourse
Private persons and entities may initiate civil suits to obtain injunctions
and treble damages against enterprises that conspire to or actually violate
federal alien smuggling, harboring, or document fraud statutes, under the
Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO). The pattern of
racketeering activity is defined as commission of two or more of the listed
crimes. A RICO enterprise can be any individual legal entity, or a group of
individuals who are not a legal entity but are associated in fact, and can
include nonprofit associations.
Tax Crimes
Employers who aid or abet the preparation of false tax returns by failing to
pay income or Social Security taxes for illegal alien employees, or who
knowingly make payments using false names or Social Security numbers, are
subject to IRS criminal and civil sanctions. U.S. nationals who have
suffered intentional discrimination because of citizenship or national
origin by an employer with more than three employees may file a complaint
within 180 days of the discriminatory act with the Special Counsel for
Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices, U.S. Department of Justice.
In addition to the federal statutes summarized, state laws and local
ordinances controlling fair labor practices, workers compensation, zoning,
safe housing and rental property, nuisance, licensing, street vending, and
solicitations by contractors may also apply to activities that involve
illegal aliens.
Comment:
A comment and a published quote by Robert Gaffney, Attorney and County
Executive of Suffolk County, LI, NY:
The statutory foundation of United States immigration law has always been
the jurisdiction of the federal government, Congress and the federal courts.
The preeminent laws concerning the employment of illegal aliens are found in
the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. §~ 1101-1503), as amended by
the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 CIRCA).
The law states it is a crime to assist an illegal alien who lacks employment
authorization by referring him to an employer, or by acting as his or her
employer, or as an agent for an employer. 8 U.S.C.S. § 1324a(a)(1)(A) (Lexis
1997). Furthermore, it is unlawful to hire an individual for employment
without complying with the employment eligibility requirements for every
person hired. 8 U.S.C.S. § 1324a(a)(l)(B) (Lexis 1997). Moreover, conduct
tending substantially to facilitate illegal aliens remaining in the United
States illegally, where there is knowledge or a reckless disregard of an
illegal alien s unlawful status, is a crime, with escalating penalties,
encompassed within the provisions of 1324. 8 U.S.C.S. § 1324(a)(l)(A)(iii)

No wonder 500,000 illegal Aliens Marched
?? !!
"California has the three strikes and you go to prison for life law"
If being an illegal alien was changed to a being a felony it seems all
illegal aliens would already have two felony strikes against them,
Crossing the border illegally and being in the USA illegally.

Keeping Track of
Republican Traitors in the Senate
WHG:
Thanks to Republicans Arlen Specter, Lindsey Graham, Sam
Brownback, and Mike DeWine the Senate Judiciary Committee passed
their amnesty for illegal aliens. They blew off Americans and
sided with the open-border Democrats. That created a majority
that allowed them to shape the bill to their liking. Come
election time, never forget it was these four republicans who
opened the flood gates.

How DJs Put 500,000 Marchers in Motion
By Teresa Watanabe and Hector Becerra, Times Staff Writers
March 28, 2006
He's one of the hottest Spanish-language radio personalities in the
nation. So when Los Angeles deejay Eddie Sotelo joined hands with
his radio rivals to urge listeners to turn out for a pro-immigrant
rally in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday, organizers hoped for a
big turnout.
But many said Monday that they were stunned by how many responded to
the call to march against federal legislation that would crack down
on undocumented immigrants and penalize those who assist them.
As a result, what was initially expected to draw fewer than 20,000
ballooned into a massive march that police estimated at 500,000 and said
was one of the largest demonstrations in Los Angeles' history. The march
topped a wave of protests drawing hundreds of thousands of participants
in cities around the nation, which organizers said influenced the U.S.
Senate Judiciary Committee's approval Monday of legislation that
includes legalization for undocumented immigrants.
Rally supporters, including immigrant-rights activists, churches, and
labor and community groups, agreed that the active advocacy of the
region's top Spanish-language radio personalities was critical in
drawing the enormous crowds, who marched more than 20 blocks along
Spring and Main streets and Broadway to City Hall, wearing white "peace"
shirts and waving American and Mexican flags.
The promoters included such on-air celebrities as KHJ's Humberto Luna,
KBUE's Ricardo "El Mandril" (The Baboon) Sanchez, Renan "El Cucuy" (The
Boogeyman) Almendarez Coello — whose often risque show has cast him as a
sort of Latino version of Howard Stern — and Sotelo, better known to
listeners as "El Piolin," or Tweety Bird. Coello's and Sotelo's morning
talk shows are among the highest-rated programs in any language in Los
Angeles.
"They were the key to getting so many people out," said Mike Garcia,
president of Local 1877 of the Service Employees International Union.
"If you listened to Spanish-language media, they were just pumping,
pumping, pumping this up."
For his part, Sotelo said he decided to promote the cause — by calling a
summit of his rival deejays to encourage them to do the same — after
rally organizers told him about the ramifications of the legislation
passed by the U.S. House of Representatives last December. The bill, by
Rep. F. James Sensenbrenner Jr. (R-Wis.), would make undocumented
immigrants and those who assist them felons and erect a 700-mile fence
along the U.S.-Mexican border.
"I told God that if he gave me an opportunity as a radio announcer, I
was going to help my people," said Sotelo, who himself illegally crossed
the border in the trunk of a car in 1986 and gained legal status a
decade later. "I think we have to make sure the message went through to
Washington, to let them know we're not criminals."
The idea for the march first sprouted in February in the oldest church
in Los Angeles: Our Lady Queen of Angels, which has historically served
as a sanctuary for undocumented migrants.
The church near Olvera Street has become one of the city's organizing
hubs against the House bill, playing a leading role in promoting the
Roman Catholic Church's national "Justice for Immigrants" campaign.
Cardinal Roger M. Mahony last December appointed a committee to promote
the national campaign throughout the 5-million-member Los Angeles
Archdiocese.
The coalition of religious, community and civil rights activists meeting
at the church had begun planning several small-scale events: news
conferences, a petition drive and protest marches to Republican and
Democratic party offices.
But when two visitors joined the group in January, the vision suddenly
expanded.
Jesse Diaz, a doctoral candidate in sociology at UC Riverside, had
worked with day laborers in Pomona and organized marches against
Proposition 187, the 1994 state initiative that cut public benefits to
undocumented immigrants but was struck down in federal court. Javier
Rodriguez, a journalist, had also worked with immigrants and organized
black-Latino political alliances.
The two men called for something dramatic: a massive protest march.
"It was time," Diaz said. "The Sensenbrenner bill had passed. We have 10
[million] to 12 million undocumented immigrants in this country, but
their voice can't be heard at the ballot box. We felt a march would be a
way for them to speak out."
The coalition was initially wary, he said. The group had little money or
organization. At the time, none of the big labor or civil rights
organizations had yet signed on, such as the service employees union or
the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles. At the table,
aside from the Catholic priests and some Spanish-language journalists,
were such groups as the Central American Resource Center, Hermandad
Mexicana Latinoamericana, the Pomona Day Labor Center and the Southern
California Human Rights Network.
But Diaz and Rodriguez kept pushing. On March 2, the group held a news
conference at the church to announce the march and call for political
and Spanish-language media to get involved.
On March 13, the group got extensive coverage from KMEX-TV Channel 34,
including promos, leading up to a "media breakfast" the next day. Later
that day, Rodriguez and other leaders spoke to a producer on Sotelo's
program. The day after that, they were on "Piolin Por La Mańana" for
four hours, Rodriguez said.
"That was it, man!" Rodriguez said. "They gave us four hours and we went
at it. We talked about the need for people to come out."
The next day, Rodriguez and other leaders went on the air with Sanchez
of KBUE-FM (105.5) "Que Buena." During that show, Rodriguez said, he
proposed that the deejays join together for the cause.

WHEN ILLEGALS GO BERSERK WILL YOUR
STATE BE PREPARED?
By: Devvy
March 27, 2006
NewsWithViews.com
"We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to
eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the
worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University
of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party
In my March 13, 2006, column I wrote about the 100,000 criminals (illegal
aliens, not immigrants) who brazenly marched through the streets of Chicago
without fear of being rounded up and deported. On March 17, 2006, an
estimated 25,000 illegals from Ireland marched boldly in the St. Patrick's
Day Parade in NY without fear of any enforcement of our immigration laws. I
told my friends at the time: this unchecked in-your-face, "we demand
respect" display by illegals will embolden them to demand they be given a
free pass and when that doesn't happen, it will reach the point of violence.
On March 24, 2006, hundreds of high school students in LA walked out of
their classrooms to protest the newest piece of completely unnecessary
immigration legislation by the incompetent fools in Congress. Within hours
15,000 criminals (illegals) were marching in Phoenix and roughly 10,000 in
Georgia. On March 25, 2006, waving their Mexican flags chanting the same
worn out "racist" garbage and demanding their "rights" 50,000 of these
criminals marched in Denver, thousands in North Carolina and here in
Sacramento. All because the House of Representatives has passed legislation
that would make it a felony to be in the U.S. illegally, impose new
penalties on employers who hire illegal immigrants and erect fences along
one-third of the U.S.-Mexican border. The counterfeit Senate is to begin
their bickering on March 28, 2006. Here's two short e-mails I recently
received from some illegal who no doubt chants racism because we the people
demand our immigration laws be enforced:
From: D******@aol.com. Date: 3/16/2006 7:06:47 PM
Message: "Hey you ignorants. Why dont you report YOURSELFS .lol. You white
people are the real illegals! When did you have a passport to come into my
ancestors land?! Get a life and REABUILD YOUR MAYFLOWER so you can go back
the cockasian hills were you ALL belong!" This illiterate wasn't happy
sending just that one, a few minutes later, he sent another: "F**K U GRINGOS
VIVA MEXICO!!!!!"
Controlling immigration is about the security of this republic (terrorists
illegally crossing the borders) and making sure countries like Mexico stop
dumping their murderers, rapists, those carrying AIDS and other communicable
diseases and gang members on America's door step. If you smuggle yourself
across the border you are a criminal. Breaking our immigration laws has
nothing to do with how nice an illegal might be or how hard they might work.
If you're here illegally, the only "right" you're entitled to is a free bus
ride to the border.
Also on March 25, 2006, 500,000 of these criminals (not immigrants) and
their supporters marched, chanted and waved their Mexican flags in downtown
LA. The newly "elected" racist mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, joined the
lawbreakers and proclaimed this bill in Congress is wrong. Seńor
Villaraigosa said the only thing illegal is making 11 million illegal aliens
felons. Yeah, he actually said that. People should make no mistake about it:
Villaraigosa was "elected" by illegals voting and his allegiance, along with
the rest of these "elected" public officials in California of Mexican
ancestry is to Mexico, not California or these united States of America.
The sissy, prissy, politically correct fools in Congress and the state
legislatures who have coddled and given a free pass to these hordes coming
across the border for the past twenty years have put this republic in
extreme danger that is beginning to escalate. As I watched the cable
coverage of these marches the past few days, the signs and interviews are
the same broken record: "I want my rights protected!" yelled one illegal
female. "Americans who want to deport us are racists," puked another
illegal. "I'm not a criminal, I just want to work. Without us, America's
economy will fail. We do the work American's won't," said one angry male
illegal during the protest march in Kansas City.
Here's a legal news flash for the little miss with her faced painted with
globs of make up: Illegal aliens have no constitutional rights. You are not
a U.S. citizen. Smuggling yourself across the border, regardless of country
of origin, is in violation of American immigration laws. The definition of
illegal isn't racist or racism. If you break into someone's house to steal,
that is an illegal act, not racism. If the law says a man cannot force a
woman to have sex against her will, it's called rape and if you commit such
an act, it's an illegal one, not racism. Our immigration laws prohibit any
individual, regardless of country of origin, to smuggle themselves across
any of our borders. This is a matter of federal law and I am fed up with
this BS about racism out of the mouths of blatant racists:
Then Assembly Speaker (California State Legislature) Antonio Villaraigosa,
now Mayor of LA: "Because you know what? It's not enough to elect Latino
leadership. If they're supporting legislation that denies the undocumented
driver's license, they don't belong in office friends."
Art Torres, California Democratic Party chairman, at the Latino Summit
Response to Prop 187 at U.C. Riverside (Jan. 14, 1995): "Power is not given
to you, you have to take it! People say to me when I was on the Senate
floor, when I was in the Senate, why do you fight so hard for affirmative
action programs. And I tell my white colleagues: because you're gonna need
them. Remember, 187 is the last gasp of white America."
Fabian Nunez, California assemblyman, at the Latino Summit Response to Prop
187 at U.C. Riverside (Jan. 14, 1995): "Each of you, get ten people to go
with us on that march in Washington, D.C., and I guarantee you just as we
mobilized 150,000 to the streets of Los Angeles on October 16, we will
mobilize 1 million people and bring Washington to a standstill, and those
rednecks that are out there making decisions for the betterment of their
communities will think twice before they push forward anti- immigrant
legislation against our community."
"... Brown Berets, we're here today to show L.A., show the minority people
here, the Anglo-Saxons, that we are here, the majority, we're here to stay.
We do the work in this city, we take care of the spoiled brat children ...
We're here in Westwood ... to show white Anglo-Saxon Protestant L.A., the
few of you who remain, that we are the majority, and we claim this land as
ours, it's always been ours, and we're still here, and none of the talk
about deporting.
"If anyone's going to be deported, it's going to be you! ... Get out! We are
the future. You're old and tired. Go on. We have beaten you – leave like
beaten rats. You old white people, it is your duty to die. Right now, we're
already controlling those elections, whether it's by violence or
nonviolence. Through love of having children we're going to take over."
Augustin Cebada, information minister of Brown Berets, militant para-military
soldiers of Aztlan shouting at U.S. citizens at an Independence Day rally in
Los Angeles.
Our economy will not fail by rounding up illegals and deporting them. On ABC
This Week, March 26, 2006, weasel Arlen Specter, hauled out the other big
lie, "We have created a need for these workers who will do the work
Americans won't." Bull. Once we begin to deport these criminals, Americans
will step in and do the jobs - jobs that have been taken away from them
because employers have turned a blind eye to the law and are looking for
cheap labor. As for Arlen Specter: why is he still sitting on his backside
doing nothing while banks in this country are knowingly and aggressively
violating federal law by giving home mortgages to criminals (illegals).
Congress and the Department of Justice are simply ignoring this outrage, yet
Specter blathers on the stupid tube that these 15 million plus criminals
should be given a free pass. Tom Tancredo was the other guest on the
aforementioned show and he said it right: We don't need any new laws,
enforce the immigration laws that are already on the books.
Frosty Wooldridge has been documenting the horrors of this massive invasion
as well as the late Dr. Madeleine Cosman. Madeleine's columns on illegals
who are violent sexual predators should damn well scare every parent in this
country. Gangs like M13 are little better than animals on two legs. They
rape and murder at will; their members are absolutely vicious. There are
neighborhoods in LA where police won't even venture into during day light
hours because this human trash has taken over. M13 gangs have spread into
dozens of states across this country. Innocent Americans as well as
policemen are being shot and killed or the women raped and then murdered by
these racist gangs. And, yes, they WILL be in your city and town before
long.
This IS what's coming right to your neighborhood: One of these days in the
near future, these millions of illegals are going to become berserkers. It
is the intention of Mexicans to "reclaim" the four border states and merge
them back with Mexico and they are willing to do it with violence. These 15
million plus illegals will go on a rampage the minute any serious round up
and deportation begins, but it must get done for the very surivival of our
republic, our standard of living and our culture. Reasonable immigration of
less than 100,000 per year is more than appropriate and it worked well for a
very long time.
We cannot allow illegals to remain in this country because it sends the very
clear message to anyone from any country: Go ahead and enter the U.S.
illegally. Nothing will be done to you. The stupid Americans will pay to
feed you, clothe you, educate your kids and pay for your medical care while
they themselves are forced to go without because they can't afford health
insurance because their tax dollars are paying for you! Ha, Ha! Go ahead and
enter the U.S. illegally if you're a terrorist, no problem, go ahead and
build your cells, blow up buildings and schools. Nothing will happen because
American politicians are too cowardly to repel this invasion and deport the
millions of illegals aready here while the illegals rub their lawlessness in
our faces.
Do people seriously think these marches over the past three days were
spontaneous? Get real. There's big money behind this lawlessness. As soon as
these criminals got away with brazenly marching and protesting on the
streets of downtown Chicago, the planning and coordination began to coincide
with the upcoming Senate exchanging of spit on Tuesday. What is going to
happen when, not if , but when millions of these criminals and deadly gangs
decide to go on a rampage? There isn't enough National Guard or local law
enforcement to handle what's coming so the evil doers in Washington, DC will
try to shove the military down our throats in violation of posse comitatus.
No? Think again:
"Some Marines say they can see the day when the Corps will be required to
execute Haiti-like missions, or worse, within the borders of the United
States....Because of the rising potential for civil disobedience within the
inner cities, it is inevitable the U.S. military will be employed more often
within American borders....To enable the Marines to execute these new
domestic missions in the same way that they do abroad, Major Reeves calls
for major alterations in U.S. laws." Sacramento Bee Forum section, November
30, 1997: Our civilian-military face off - The Bill of Rights no obstacle
for Corps
The sovereign states of the Union are guaranteed a republican form of
government and protection from invasion. This massive invasion has gone
forward with no resistance from Washington because the agenda is to
eliminate our border and join Mexico and Canada with the U.S. as one
regional territory for world government. There is but one solution: the
state militias as mandated by the Second Amendment. This IS our homeland
security and it WILL be the only defense we have when these criminals are
given the go ahead to do more than march and chant racism. The states have
the absolute right to repel an invasion and deport any illegal regardless of
country of origin and that's exactly why the state militias must be
reconstituted and activated.
There is a war going on along the border and the harder we push to get these
illegals rounded up and deported, the closer we get to these millions of
illegals unleashing full scale violence. The first time Mexicans across the
official border line fired on our border agents, Congress should have
declared an act of war against Mexico. Instead, they have found more excuses
than stars in the sky while the violence against American citizens, law
enforcement and our border patrol escalates. If you think I'm just blowing
smoke, I am dead serious about what's coming.
Dr. Edwin Vieira has written extensively on homeland security, but as time
is an issue with our fellow Americans or they don't have a computer, I have
taken Edwin's constitutional writing on this critical issue and put it on a
new CD now being shipped. Since time is an issue, Americans can listen to
Edwin's constitutional analysis on the state militias and homeland security
in their car while commuting or running errands. This week I am mailing a
copy of this CD with a letter to my state assemblyman, state senator, Govn'r
Arnold Kaly-forn-ia and to my county sheriff. This letter is to inform them
about what IS going to happen when these illegals cut loose and if the
states do not immediately begin the process of reconstituting the state
militias as mandated under the Second Amendment, they are going to see Hell
right in their own front yard.
Edwin has informed me that contrary to what I wrote in a previous column,
there will have to be some sort of legislation by the state legislatures to
get the process rolling. I stand corrected, but this should not deter the
legislatures and governors from getting off the dime and getting this done
before the rioting and killing starts. No one wants to see our cities burn
and innocent Americans killed, but it IS coming. These criminals are
becoming bolder by the day because they wrongfully believe there will be no
resistance by we the people. They are dead wrong, but the right way, the
lawful way in order to avoid chaos and a possible test of martial law is
through the state militias.

Feds Probe Al
Qaeda Link to Latino Gang
Friday, January 14, 2005
NEW YORK — Federal officials are investigating a violent Central
America-based street gang for ties to Middle Eastern terrorism, an
alliance that seems unlikely but poses a frightening threat to the
United States.
MS-13, also known as
La Mara Salvatrucha
(search),
has about 15,000 members in the United States in cities from Los Angeles
to Boston. Some members have been charged with crimes that include rape,
carjacking and drug smuggling.
Officials suspect MS-13 makes money by shuttling illegal aliens
across the Mexican border into the United States. According to local
police, several Middle Eastern men have been arrested at the border with
MS-13 members during the past year, leading some to believe that
terrorists are piggybacking on South American illegals to enter the
United States.
"We've had recent information that they have been involved with not
only narco-terrorists but Al Qaeda and that type of thing," said Hunter
Glass of the Fayetteville, N.C., police force.
The evidence so far is mostly circumstantial, but there are
indications Al Qaeda (search)
has approached MS-13 for help crossing the border.
"They were trying to make a deal with people like us, gang members,
from La Mara Salvatrucha, 'cause they know we transport people," said
one MS-13 member. "They asked me if Muslim people were to pay me this
ransom money, would I transport them over here?"
But federal law enforcement agents say they don't believe there is a
link between MS-13 and Al Qaeda. The Department of Homeland Security
(search)
said it cannot find any evidence of a connection.
"We've heard many of those reports over the summer and through the
autumn, and we have not been able to corroborate that, in fact, MS-13,
to be specific, has been meeting with Al Qaeda," Homeland Security
official John Torres told FOX News.
The FBI said it's implausible that radical Muslims would align with a
predominantly Catholic criminal gang.
But two Texas congressmen have written a letter to President Bush
warning that 15,000 non-Mexican illegal aliens have crossed the border
in recent months, many of them of Middle Eastern origin. The Department
of Homeland Security said it is looking into the matter.

The Illegal
Immigration Reform Scam
Mar 27, 2006
by Jim Kouri, CPP
This weekend, thousands of activists and illegal aliens have been rallying
in Los Angeles to protest against plans to further criminalize so-called
undocumented workers. The protest’s main organizer Javier Rodriguez has ties
to the radical left group MEchA, which believes Mexicans have a right to
repopulate lands stolen from them by the United States.
The mainstream news media put a happy-face on the protest, which is part of
a series of such events throughout the nation. While the news reporters
talked about illegal workers who perform jobs Americans refuse to perform,
they continue to avoid mentioning the tens of thousands of illegal
immigrants who prey on men, women and children — US citizens. It is these
innocent Americans who are murdered, raped and robbed because of an insane
immigration policy. Criminal aliens are entering the US in the tens of
thousands and remaining here as they join violent gangs such as MS-13, or
they choose to commit their mayhem solo.
Meanwhile, a number of Americans are being intentionally confused by US
lawmakers who are debating legislation that would reform immigration. The
news media help in creating this confusion. Did you ever read about the fact
that in the past 5 months the US Border Patrol has detained 42,000 illegals
who were convicted criminals or persons wanted for crimes committed at our
borders? Last year, the Homeland Security Department reported that 140,000
detainees apprehended at the border had criminal records at the time of
their arrest. These are the illegal being intercepted, what about the ones
who get through?
One bill would set up a Guest Worker Program. Wow, now that will help to
protect Americans. Another would make violation of immigration law a felony
instead of a misdemeanor; and yet another would allow the governent to build
a security fence on our southern border. In addition, we have politicians
and immigration advocates lying about what’s contained in these bills or
using vitriolic language in their opposition to cracking down on illegal
immigration.
One politician accused her opponents of trying to create a police state.
Another threatened to filibuster tough illegal immigration laws. And the
immigration activists fabricate what’s actually contained in these bills,
creating illusions of police officers dragging innocent immigrants from
their homes and crowding them into jail cells. And that’s mild compared to
the rhetoric of leftist groups such as MEchA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano
de Aztlan), who call anyone desiring tougher border security and immigration
enforcement “Right-wing racists.”
The problem isn’t about the need for new laws; the problem is about the lack
of enforcement of existing laws. The US Constitution provides the executive
branch with a number of inherent powers such as the enforcement of
immigration laws.
The Constitution also mandates that the President protect American
sovereignty and the American people. That is the number one priority for our
government — of it should be. And congress is mandated to provide domestic
tranquility for Americans. Criminal alien gangbangers do not add to our
domestic tranquility.
Why is it suddenly necessary for congress to pass laws on illegal
immigration when we haven’t been enforcing the laws that already exist. The
executive branch has the power to add border agents, equipment and other
resources. The President has the power to use the military if necessary to
enhance border protection. Passing laws is an easy, painless process. The
trick is to enforce those laws.
And why isn’t the US government arresting illegal aliens while they are
protesting in our city’s streets all across the country? The protest
organizers, are said to be sponsored by left-wing groups including Open
Borders and MEChA, are protesting the border security bill that passed the
US House of Representatives in December and is still awaiting passage by the
US Senate.
The University of Texas at El Paso recently conducted a study that found the
following: Treating illegal immigrants in hospitals accounts for nearly one
quarter of the uncompensated costs at border county hospitals in Cochise
County. That county in Arizona spends tens of thousands of dollars just
picking up trash left at campsites by these illegals. Prosecuting and
jailing illegals costs this county an additional $5 million a year. And 25
percent of Cochise County’s budget is paid for health care for the
uninsured, the majority of whom are illegally in the country.
In another study of a sample group of 55,000 criminal aliens, it was
discovered they accounted for over 400,000 arrests and more than 700,000
criminal acts including felonies. In Los Angeles, the city that’s hosting
the protest — which was whole-heartedly endorsed by its mayor — 95% of the
outstanding arrest warrants for homicides are for illegal aliens and 65% of
all felony warrants are for so-called undocumented immigrants. Are they
committing the crimes Americans won’t commit?

The
Mexican Government's Official Plan for a Takeover of America
By W.J. Perry

There are approximately 18 million Mexican immigrants living in the
United States today. Out of that 18 million, it is estimated that 3 million,
or nearly 20 percent, are illegal aliens. Those 18 million Mexicans present
a growing threat to America’s self-determination because many play a dual
citizenship role officially encouraged by the Mexican government. This is no
secret; it’s all in Mexico’s official "National Plan of Development
2001-2006." This shocking document is a five-year plan full of political
rhetoric emphasizing planned improvements for every aspect of Mexico’s
infrastructure, but it also lays out specific strategies for expanding the
nation’s political reach far beyond the US-Mexico border. In other words,
Mexico is systematically trying to cultivate dual loyalties, i.e.
disloyalty, among its ethnic compatriots in America. This is a naked
expansion of Mexico’s national interest at the expense of ours; the mystery
is why we are tolerating it.
"Globalization" is the buzzword that appears numerous times throughout
Mexico’s plan. To achieve that goal, the Mexican government is counting on
its citizens living abroad to strengthen Mexico’s influence throughout North
America. The Mexican government is demanding that we give all Mexican
illegals a free pass, and also support them with numerous social services
paid for by American taxpayers. Some of these – like free medical care -- we
do not even provide to our own citizens. Mexico’s plan specifically outlines
its intent concerning Mexican citizens who have entered the United States
illegally in a subsection titled "Defense Of Mexicans Abroad." The plan
states:
"It is important to note that even if Mexico has achieved a number of
agreements and mechanisms to ensure better treatment of our countrymen
abroad, the issue of migration, especially in the United States, needs a new
focus over the long term to permit the movement and residence of Mexican
nationals to be safe, comfortable, legal and orderly, and the attitude of
police persecution of this phenomenon must be abandoned and it must be
perceived as a labor and social phenomenon."
In other words, nothing is illegal and we are not a nation of laws any more,
only markets.
In a television interview in 2000, Mexico’s President Vincente Fox made his
country’s intentions clear concerning the balance of power in the Western
Hemisphere:
"I'm talking about a community of North America, an integrated agreement of
Canada, the United States, and Mexico in the long term, 20, 30, 40 years
from now. And this means that some of the steps we can take are, for
instance, to agree that in five years we will make this convergence on
economic variables. That may mean in 10 years we can open up that border
when we have reduced the gap in salaries and income."
In other words, his stated long-term goal is the abolition of the border
between the US and Mexico. This is a polite way of saying an end to
America’s distinct nationhood, i.e. to our nationhood, period. We are to be
dragged down to the level of the corrupt, impoverished, backward,
crony-capitalist disaster – a nation whose citizens evaluate quite honestly
by fleeing at the rate of millions per decade – on our southern border.
On the surface, Mexico’s globalist vision for economic unity seems innocent,
but it’s likely to create a very dangerous situation for America. Unlike our
nation of mixed nationalities with various loyalties, Mexicans are extremely
nationalistic, and they usually side with their homeland first on all
issues. Considering that Hispanics are now the largest minority group in
America at 12.6 percent, and Mexicans make up half of that population, the
Mexican government is well on its way to wielding significant influence over
U.S. policy by relying on the loyalties of their 18 million dual citizens.
Another disturbing section of Mexico’s National Plan concerns the
government’s effort to set up illegal immigrants with special identification
cards, allowing them to open bank accounts and acquire driver’s licenses
anywhere in the United States. Basically, any Mexican illegal alien can walk
into the nearest Mexican consulate with $29 and walk out with a "consulate
card". These cards are officially recognized in Mexico allowing illegal
immigrants to operate on both sides of the border. Although the cards have
been available for many years, they have not been officially recognized in
America as proper identification until recently.
In 2001, the reliably-ultraliberal San Francisco combined city and county
government unanimously passed a resolution to accept the consulate card as
official personal identification. Since that first resolution, law
enforcement agencies and municipalities throughout California and other
parts of the United States, have also gone on to make exceptions for illegal
Mexicans by accepting the cards. This is the first step toward making
Mexican border jumpers legal by giving them blanket amnesty, something
Vincente Fox has openly called for during immigration talks with the United
States.
With a sagging economy and many unrealized campaign promises, Mexico’s
leader is fighting for his political life inside what is essentially a third
world country. Now, with his old friend and "Border Buddy" President Bush
firmly in tow, Vincente Fox is pushing for the eventual abolishment of the
US-Mexico border. Such easing of border restrictions would serve as a
release valve for the most desperate unemployed Mexicans, thus relieving
Mexico’s financial obligation to support its’ poorest citizens. Moreover,
free movement across the border would allow Mexican workers to earn their
money in the U.S. and spend it back in Mexico.
Just as their national plan dictates, the Fox administration is also
encouraging Mexican immigrants to officially participate in Mexican politics
from within the United States. In 2001, Mexico passed a law allowing dual
citizenship for any Mexican national living abroad, legal or otherwise. In
addition, Fox visited California several times this year to campaign for
stronger absentee ballot turnouts on behalf of all the Mexican nationals
living in the United States. Their dual citizenship law is a major weapon in
Mexico’s battle for a piece of the American political pie, but it’s only
part of an infiltration campaign that started many years ago.
During the past fifty years, Mexico’s dual loyalists have entered every
facet of American society, including many public offices now held by the
sons and daughters of Mexicans who originally entered the United States
illegally, just to be redeemed by past amnesty programs. For decades they
have slowly but relentlessly been taking control of local and state
governments throughout the American Southwest. Although these
Mexican-Americans were born and raised in the United States, many of them
openly put their loyalty to Mexico before their loyalty to America. What
other ethnic group in America would we tolerate this from? (When some
German-Americans flirted with Hitler in their Bund organization in the 30’s,
this so shamed their reputation as an ethnic group that they are now –
despite being the largest ethnic group in America – also one of the most
silent in terms of explicit ethnic self-expression.)
Today, the Mexican loyalists have become a dominating force in American
society, influencing the culture, the language and most importantly, the
political process. Thanks to Mexican-American lobbying efforts, California
state representatives now officially recognize illegal aliens as
"undocumented workers" treating them with a laundry list of special aid
programs including free college tuition. Repeat: there are native Americans
who can’t afford to go to college, and we are spending taxpayer money to
send criminal migrants. In Texas, the state legislature recently conducted
an entire legislative session in Spanish, and the story barely made the "B.
Block" of local newscasts.
Furthermore, the 2000 presidential campaign proved just how important the
Hispanic vote is to politicians on the national front. From day one of the
campaign, then Texas Governor, George W. Bush, dragged his half Hispanic
nephew, George P. Bush to every media event that might garner a sizable
Hispanic audience. The plan worked so well that today George W. Bush is
described in many Latin American circles as "America’s first Hispanic
president" a strange title for a guy who once referred to Mexico’s national
language as "Mexican" instead of Spanish.
Indeed, Bush’s relationship with Mexico and Vincente Fox goes back long
before his bid for the presidency. The two were Governors at the same time,
and they met regularly over the years concerning various issues including
border security, energy production, and trade policy. Then during Bush’s
first year as president, he and Fox met four times to discuss US - Mexican
relations. In the fall of 2001, Bush publicly mentioned the possibility of a
new amnesty program for Mexican illegals, but things cooled dramatically
after the 911 attacks. Today however, Bush and Fox are back on the fast
track to negotiating Mexico’s plans for economic and political expansion.
After the latest meeting of the US-Mexico Binational Commission (BNC) on
November 26, the U.S. State Department confirmed that cabinet members from
both sides signed a number of important agreements. One agreement that
stands out is the "Bilateral Income Tax Treaty" that amends an existing
bilateral income tax treaty between the two nations, thus allowing
significant reductions in taxes on dividends, which officials say "will
further facilitate cross-border trade and investment." If fully ratified by
both nations, this treaty will allow major corporations to invest in either
country without being taxed at home on profits earned from across the
border, thus merging our economies one step beyond NAFTA.
There is no doubt the Latinization of America is well underway, and Mexico
is slyly laying the groundwork that could eventually destroy the security of
our southern border. Furthermore, it’s no big secret that many Mexicans
dream of reclaiming the land lost to America as a result of the
Mexican-American War. Ever since that agreement took effect in 1845,
numerous Mexican government officials have openly called for "Reconquista,"
a political plan to recover the land they believe was unjustly stolen by the
American government. Although Mexico has never officially encouraged the
Reconquista movement, they have also never discouraged Mexican citizens (on
and off American soil) from proclaiming its inevitability.
Frankly, the official plan of Mexico is closer to a plan of colonization
than it is to a plan of development. Just as their national plan clearly
dictates, the Mexican government is preparing for an attack on America -- an
attack perpetrated through ideology and assimilation rather than with
bullets and blood. The self-hating political correctness of mainstream
Americans, combined with their history-blind confidence that the United
States is a nation invulnerable to territorial loss, continues to aid and
abet this aggression.

More photos from the protest at McCain's offices
Anthony Ford mentioned on another post that he had pictures from the
protest at McCain's office, where the American flag was being dragged on
the ground by the pro-illegal immigration crowd. We've gotten these
pictures from Anthony, with his commentary below.

From Anthony via email:
Yep, they were so concerned with coordinating doing the "wave" that
they forgot they weren't supposed to drag that American flag, that they
professed to love, around on the ground. Here are a couple of photos;
use them with my compliments. The main offender was a young lady with a
bullhorn who started out the opposition's rally by apparently
coordinating things. She's the one grinding the flag into the sidewalk.

Lou Dobbs Tonight - CNN - December 20
Kitty Pilgrim: Illegal alien gang members in this country
have become the subject of an unbelievable new debate. Open border
advocates are now criticizing federal and local authorities for
deporting some of the most violent criminals.
Casey Wian (from Los Angeles): Nearly 1800 illegal alien gang
members have been deported since February under operation community
shield, the joint effort by Immigration and Customs Enforcement and
several local police departments. A model of successful immigration
law enforcement is now the target of protests.

Memo From Mexico, By Allan Wall
Vicente Fox: "In Ten Years, The US Will Be Begging Mexico For
Workers.” VDARE.COM: Oh, Yeah?
SOURCE W/LINKS:
Vicente Fox’s term as presidente of Mexico is coming to an end. The
country is in the midst of a presidential election, with voting
scheduled for July 2nd. The winner, whoever he may be, is to take
office December 1st of this year.
So Fox has less than nine months to go.
Which means that he must be thinking about his "legacy", as outgoing
presidents are wont to do.
Fox was recently interviewed by BBC Mundo’s Mariusa Reyes and one of
the topics was—naturally—"migration". [Fox: "En 10 ańos EE.UU.
suplicará", Mariusa Reyes, BBC Mundo March 2nd, 2006]
Fox informed the interviewer that
"in the United States there are harsh people, xenophobic people,
there are builders of walls, the only thing they want is to wrongly
divide our two countries. In place of this we have many who think
that here there is a great opportunity for the American economy, a
great opportunity for Mexico, and a great opportunity for NAFTA."
"Wrongly divide our two countries?"
Excuse me, but the United States and Mexico are still two different
countries.
Personally I want them to remain separate countries (for the good of
both).
After that, Fox made a rather bizarre prediction:
"I hope that finally we achieve a migratory accord. I daresay that
in 10 years the United States will be pleading, it will be begging
Mexico to send her workers, and Mexico will not do it because it
will have its people busy." (Yo espero que finalmente lleguemos a
este acuerdo migratorio. Yo me atrevo a seńalar que en 10 ańos
Estados Unidos estará suplicando, estará rogándole a México que le
envíe trabajadores, y México no lo va a hacer porque va a tener
ocupada a su gente.)
Now that’s quite a prediction. Mark it down folks, put it in a time
capsule and dig it up in a decade.
In a later interview with Business Week Online, Fox touched on some
of the same themes, and even weighed in on specific (U.S.!)
legislation:
"For the first time, there are several very solid bills before the
U.S. Congress. I especially like the Kennedy-McCain bill because it
incorporates elements that I have been discussing with President
Bush for these past five years. It would mean that those who are
working in the U.S. would have their labor rights and human rights
respected. And we could reach a [bilateral] agreement for a future
flow of workers—orderly, legal, and secure." [Fox Q & A: Looking
Back, and Ahead, March 10, 2006]
Another Fox comment :
"There are xenophobic people who want to build a wall, who want the
army to patrol the border. But there are many others, including U.S.
businesspeople, who need and are hiring [Mexican] workers."
Translation: There are American employers who would rather pay low
wages to illegal aliens than hire American workers.
The interviewer brought up Fox’s earlier 10-year prediction: "You’ve
been criticized for saying recently that in 10 years the U.S. will
be ‘begging’ Mexico for more workers. Can you elaborate?"
Fox’s answer:
"Demographics are changing rapidly in Mexico. Mexico has already
gone through the difficult phase of high population growth, and now
we're moving quickly from a situation of having a young population
to one that has many more retirees. Mexico's population was growing
1.4 percent annually in 2000, but by 2005 it was growing just 0.99
percent a year. The U.S. already has an adult population with many
retirees. I daresay that in 10 years, the U.S. will need many more,
young, strong, productive workers from Mexico, and we aren't going
to be able to let our young people go north because our economy is
going to need them."
Oh yeah?
It’s really hard to take this prediction seriously.
IN 2001,the Mexican government’s National Population Council (CONAPO)
predicted that, even with a decrease in the birth rate and an
improved Mexican economy, emigration to the U.S. will not diminish
for at least the next 30 years! (That would be until 2031 or later).
The bottom line is this—as long as the U.S. allows mass immigration
from Mexico, it will continue, regardless of what happens in Mexico.
[VDARE.COM NOTE: More recently, Fox himself, asked how long it would
take Mexico to" reach a stage where citizens no longer want to cross
the U.S. border to seek work,” answered "Generations." Immigration
debate seen skirting root cause, Reuters, March 29, 2006]
So it’s up to us—not the Mexican government—to decide if we want it
to continue.
Ironically, there’s only one way Fox’s prediction could come true:
if we convince our government to get control of the border and
reduce immigration (legal and illegal).
Then Mexican workers would be busy in Mexico, where they should be
working anyway.
However, if the present immigration disaster continues and worsens,
by the time 2016 rolls around, mass emigration from Mexico to the
U.S. will be in full throttle, with its negative effects on both
countries.
So what’ll it be, America?

The Cause of Illegal Immigration
By Victor C Forsythe
The US government has done everything possible to promote
illegal immigration. The two principal causes are: Number
One; The World Bank. The chief mission of this so called
“Bank” is to bankrupt other nations with loan sharking. If
World Bank loans were any good, why do the nations that get
a loan always default? Because the way in which the loan is
given, insures that the government officials will be able to
embezzle the loan and place their booty in secret bank
accounts in Europe. Number Two; The so-called Free Trade
Agreements such as NAFTA which dumped millions of tons of
subsidized US corn on the Mexican economy. It should not
take a rocket scientist to figure out that this would
engender massive unemployment in Mexico.
Outsourcing US factory production to slave labor factories
in Communist China is another important part of the funnel
to keep US workers unemployed. Making sure that the minimum
wage is not raised is another part. So now where does this
funnel lead? Well to the New Roman Empire military machine
of course. To avoid having to institute a draft the military
Industrial complex has to make sure that young people in
search of a job have the fewest job opportunities possible.
So how do we turn this around? Farm subsidies should only be
used in emergency situations. No more subsidies to the
world’s richest corporations. The airwaves belong to We the
People, not the highest bidder. Free air time to qualified
political candidates from other parties than the Republicans
or Democrats. Use the military budget to free us from fossil
fuels. With these reforms the so-called illegal immigration
would not exist.

Fox News,
I am of Spanish and Mexican-indigenous descent. I know my
Spanish language from a street use and home use level to
reading and writing it as a second language at a University
level. I have studied my Mexican culture and have performed
its arts from Ballet Folkloric Dances to Mexican music and
serenades with guitar, sketching/drawing, poetry, and
written and spoken discourse, some in public settings.
I know my Mexican-American ethnic connection, and have
communicated important ideas and views with members of other
races in English and in Spanish, and with locals in my
“barrios” in (our) street “pachuquismo”! I have researched
the Civil Rights movements of many so-called minority
groups, especially the “Chicano” movement stemming all the
way from the famous “Zoot-suit riots” to “La Raza Unida”
Party, “Mecha”, and “Mayo”! I consider myself a “Chicano” of
“pachuco” influence and as a migrant worker have experienced
first-hand what it is to be discriminated against by white
Americans!
[I possess an associate’s degree in electronics, a
baccalaureate’s in business, and a life-time teaching
certification in the State of Texas. I now tell my 6th grade
students that, “TODAY, there is no Republican that can keep
you from getting a good education, and no Democrat that
cares whether you do or don’t!” I explain that this Country
is - the “land of opportunity” but it is in their hands to
take advantage of the opportunity; the opportunity, NOT the
taxpayer! Had I, as well as many others in the
Rio-Grande-Valley of South Texas, been born south of our
border, I may have begun my survival as a five year-old
selling gum on the streets and ended up selling corn from a
cart at the age of forty (I’m 44)! Mind-you, had I my
Father’s determination, I would be running a local business
of several corn-selling-carts by the age of fifty, which in
Mexico would be one-hell of a success for the middle child
in a family of thirteen!]
BUT, my flag is NOT - the Mexican flag! It is instead the
flag that I was born under, the flag that I have been
housed, dressed, fed, nursed back to health, educated, and
paid a salary under, and willingly volunteered to serve
under (though, a physical condition disqualified me); it is
the flag of the United States of America!
[For those that have unselfishly risked or lost their lives
to keep “Old Glory” and all its virtue alive and well, I am
willing to die for, and if necessary … willing to kill for!]
To march with the Mexican flag in the USA (especially
displayed above the American flag, which should be treason)
in a rally protesting an immigration bill, is not a Civil
Rights issue, it is instead – Nationalism, it is clearly
Anti-American Nationalism! In that case, I say to my “raza”,
“if Mexico is that great, then … go back!”
E. Garcia Mission, TX.

Arizona
Representative Russell Pearce
The hard truth on illegal immigration
ARIZONA –– Arizona’s 370–mile long border with Mexico
places us on the frontline in this battle against illegal
immigration. And for those who think the war analogy is too
strong, remember the violent deaths that occur due to human
and drug smuggling.
So, it is up to us. One of the ways we are doing that is
passing good reforms such as Proposition 200 (which I
co-authored) and through the Legislature considering further
reforms which prohibits bail for those illegal aliens who
commit violent crimes in Arizona; require law enforcement to
cooperate with Federal government with illegal alien
apprehension and deportation; restrict public benefits such
as child care subsidies, housing assistance and in-state
college tuition for illegal immigrants.
Until the day I die, I will insist that 'illegal' is
'illegal'.”
The absolute basis for the existence of our government is the
protection of our Citizens-their person, their property and
their rights. I want to thank not only the Minutemen but
also the people of Arizona and the rest of the country who
supported us and urged us on. Defending freedom and standing
up to people who discount the laws of this great country is
not a sacrifice but rather our duty.
Perhaps as high as 80% of the violent crime in Phoenix area
involves illegal aliens (according to Chief Hurt and Mesa
police violent crimes response team)
Illegal Aliens cost taxpayers $68 Billion annually in
federal programs in 2002. Studies estimate that amnesty
would increase that three fold.
$311 Billion in uncollected taxes (Barron's study).
$200 Billion annually in lost American wages. Native-born American men
lost an average of $1700 in wages in 2000 due to US
immigration policy (Harvard University).
Maricopa County Hospital loses over $2 million weekly on
uncompensated care (largely do to illegal aliens) (2003, 77
border hospitals filed for bankruptcy).
Feds owe $25 million in uncompensated SCAAP costs just in
Maricopa County, (1/3 of our federal prisons are illegal
aliens).
Arizona spends over $800 million (K –12) annually to educate
illegals.
Over half of AHCCCS births are from illegal mothers 1/3 of
children in Arizona have immigrant parents.
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a
Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of
them against invasion." Article IV Section 4 of the U.S.
Constitution.
Today, the majority of these elected officials are in
violation of their oath of office, with severe consequences
to their law abiding U.S. citizen constituents’.
From State Representative Russell Pearce R-18, Mesa,
Arizona, Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and
Co-Author of Proposition 200 (known as Protect Arizona NOW).
I am so grateful to Americans who stand up for the Rule of
Law and the citizens of this great nation. The disrespect
for America (United States) our laws, our taxpayers, our
sovereignty, our Constitution should be alarming to every
American. I am also amazed at the Governor and our Attorney
General's (who took an Oath to uphold the Constitution and
the Laws) attempt to ignore and in fact their attempt to
thwart the people's will and the law and what Prop. 200 is
about (preventing illegals from getting free stuff against
the law) in its attempt to Re-establish the Rule of Law.
However that is the continue deceit that comes from open border
advocates and their kind.
I have spent 30 years in the criminal justice system and now
sit as a State Legislator (Chairman of the House
Appropriations Committee) and I have been vigilant in
protecting the citizens of the United States (specifically
Arizona) and will continue to support the Rule of Law and
demand others do also. I continue to be amazed at those who
pander to foreign nations interest, cheap labor advocates,
the liberal left who benefit politically as we watch America
being destroyed. I intend to continue to bring forth
legislation that will detour illegal aliens and go after
criminal aliens by allow local law enforcement to play a
role in this illegal alien crime wave. We no longer can
afford for our law enforcement community to sit on the side
lines while our neighborhoods are destroyed and our nation
is attacked by these criminal/violent aliens.
While I was in Washington D.C. recently speaking at the Brookings
Institute on immigration. While on stage, I was given a
message, "Urgent, call home, Emergency". As I stepped off
the stage found a phone and called home I found my son, Sean
Pearce and Lou, Deputy Sheriff’s for Maricopa County
Sheriffs Office and SWAT Team members had just been
critically wounded and Sean was critical and was being flown
to a local hospital. I later found they had been shot by
Homicide suspect during the execution of warrants and these
bad guys were "illegal aliens" with "Matricular Cards".
This year, over three million illegal aliens crossed over our borders
(not just to get jobs, however those looking for work that
are taking those jobs from Americans ALL in violation of our
laws) against the laws set forth in our Constitution and
Law. These laws are specific. They demand arrest and
deportation for anyone within the United States of America
without lawful entry. For anyone hiring an illegal alien,
these laws provide fines of $10,000.00 per illegal hired and
up to five years in prison. (I intend to introduce for the
3rd time a bill/House Referendum to go after employers who
"knowingly" hire illegal aliens and empower citizens and
local law enforcement in this effort).
Nonetheless, according to Time Magazine, September 12, 2004,
written by Pulitzer Prize winning journalists Donald L.
Barlett and James B. Steele--over 4,000 illegal aliens
breach Arizona’s borders nightly. That is, "Enough to fill
22,000 Boeing 737 airliners or 60 flights every day of the
year." Millions of these illegal aliens find employment with
our top corporations in every sector of our society’ all the
detriment of America’s working class’ and in violation of
the rule of law. Yet Tom Ridge of Homeland Security, Asa
Hutchinson head of the Border Patrol, our Congress and the
president refuse to uphold the Constitution, its laws and
their oaths of office. Additionally, our elected officials
from mayors to state governors work against American
citizens in what history will report as the single greatest
“invasion-without-guns” takeover of a nation in history.
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this
Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect
each of them against invasion." Article IV Section 4 of the
U.S. Constitution.
Each of these elected men and women swore on a Bible to represent
Americans and uphold the Constitution.
Today, the majority of these elected officials are in
violation of their oath of office. Beyond this violation,
with severe consequences for their law abiding U.S. citizen
constituents’ is the poor example they set--absence of honor
and legality. According to Webster’s dictionary, fifteen
million illegal aliens constitute an invasion.
You can see the effects of this invasion in every city in
the United States. Nonetheless, mayors in dozens of cities
including Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Dallas,
Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit and Boston maintain Special
Order 40 that prohibits police from arresting and detaining
illegal aliens. Hundreds of mayors are in violation of their
oaths of office when they swore to uphold the rule of law.
Baldacci of Maine is the first governor to sign an order giving illegal
aliens a sanctuary state. The cornucopia of benefits include
the ability to work illegally, ability to drive without
license or car insurance, use of welfare, use our schools
with free lunches for their kids and state funded medical
care” at our expense. This is the type of corrupt leadership
found in the Third World. Baldacci violates his oath of
office. However, he is not alone. Not one single governor in
the United States stands against illegal immigration or
attempts to enforce Federal or local laws in our states.
They, in fact, aid, abet and assist illegal aliens. What law
do they break?
"A person (including a group of persons, business,
organization, or local government) commits a federal felony
when she or he: assists an illegal alien she/he should
reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks
employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or
assisting him or her to obtain employment, or encourages
that illegal alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or
her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an
employer in any way, or knowingly assists illegal aliens due
to personal convictions." Federal Law ” Section 8 USC 1324.
If you suffered a horde of people overrunning your home or
community, you would call the cops and have them arrested.
Not so with illegal aliens! By lack of law enforcement,
illegals recognize the open invitation to illegal entry. The
benefits of lawbreaking exceed their wildest dreams.
Below is just the first part of a prior op ed on Prop. 200, a simple
solution to re-establishing the Rule of Law.
Protect Arizona NOW/Prop. 200 "Arizona Taxpayers and,
Citizens Protection Act" does three things.
Proof of citizenship to register to vote. The U.S.
Constitution established more than 200 years ago that only
citizens can vote. The initiative requires everyone equally
to prove that eligibility. The Help America Vote Act of 2002
requires states to strengthen the integrity of their voter
rolls, as does Title 7, Section 12 of the Arizona
Constitution, which states: "There shall be enacted
registration and other laws to secure the purity of
elections and guard against abuses of the elective
franchise."
Photo I.D. when voting. Photo I.D. is required to cash a check, apply
for welfare, sign a lease, get a rental card at a video
store. Gov. Napolitano vetoed the photo I.D. bill, stating
it was illegal. Yet 11 states already have laws requiring
I.D. when voting. Some laws have been on the books for
decades, so where does she get it's illegal? Or does she
think voting isn't as precious a right in this country as
having a video rental card?
Proof of eligibility to receive non-federal mandated public
benefits. This is already on the books. The initiative would
require everyone to provide proof of eligibility equally.
The Urban Institute studied this extensively in 1994, the
University of Arizona in 2001, and estimated such costs to
vary widely in the tens of millions of dollars.
While the overall responsibility of Immigration belongs to
the Federal Government, the impact of the Federal
Government's failure falls on the citizens of Arizona and it
is up to us to do something about illegal activity and the
issues of voter fraud and theft of taxpayer dollars.
They say this initiative is divisive? Like its name says, it seeks to
protect Arizona taxpayers and citizens. The only
divisiveness our initiative could cause might be between
those for whom laws matter and those for whom laws don't
matter.
Those laws are already on the books--our initiative would
only require that laws regarding the eligibility or
recipients of public benefits that are already on the books,
are enforced. People registering to vote would be required
to "prove they are U.S. citizens" when they register to
vote. When they go vote, they only have to provide a photo
or other acceptable I.D. (spelled out in the initiative).
(blockbuster requires two forms of ID to rent a movie, it
seems like voting should be almost as important!)
"Illegal immigration, moreover, is not an exceptional case,
but a powerful proof that the usually accepted 'model' of
how our government works has been supplanted by something
else entirely," Youngblood said. " Most Americans, as
supported by both the anecdotal evidence of popular opinion
outlets such as talk radio, the Internet, etc., and by
legitimate, scientific polling data, overwhelmingly support
stopping illegal migration. Yet, when you talk to almost any
elected official of either party at any level of government,
there is a total disconnect between what they say and do,
and what their constituents want them to do. Their polite
response, of course, is that immigration, illegal or
otherwise, is good for the country."
Of course this ignores the Crime (violent and property
loss), Cost of Education, cost of Health Care, Americans
losing jobs, Destruction of our Neighborhoods, unpaid taxes,
unfair and immoral competitive advantage of business over
honest business, etc.
For example at our 2004 Republican State Convention over 60%
of our elected PC's voted for a Resolution to endorse Prop.
200 and yet out of our Congressional Delegation came out
against putting into place a verification process to protect
the integrity of our Elections and the Protection of fraud
at our welfare offices, (exception of Trent Franks). On a
statewide poll conducted by ASU/Channel 8 85% of Republicans
supported Prop. 200.
**If you listen to the liberals and pro illegal alien crowd
you would think that carrying an ID is somehow hazardous to
your health**
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that
good people do nothing.
NO COMPROMISE IN DEFENSE OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, OUR CITY, OUR
STATE, AND OUR COUNTRY.
Calling an illegal alien an undocumented immigrant is like
calling a burglar an uninvited house guest.
A legislative effort to allow local police to enforce
immigration law allows and not allow some of the state’s
most violent criminals to remain on our streets, State Rep.
Russell Pearce says. Pearce wants to "Take the handcuffs off
the police and put them on the bad guys" and says local law
enforcement can no longer sit on the side line and watch our
neighborhoods be destroyed by gangs, violence and allow
those in this country illegally to hide behind sanctuary
policies.
Pearce is sponsoring several bills to protect Arizonans from illegal
aliens and awaits final action on them in the Senate and
consideration by Gov. Janet Napolitano.
One bill, SB1306, would allow local law enforcement such as
county sheriffs and municipal police officers to enforce
federal immigration laws such as detaining illegal aliens
and turning them over to federal authorities.
Another bill, HB2389/HCR2028, asks voters to remove the
ability for an illegal alien who is accused of committing a
serious felony to get out of jail before trial.
These two common sense measures have received widespread
support despite attempts by Democrats and others to paint
illegal immigration as a racial issue.
“Illegal aliens have already shown a willingness to break
the law,” Pearce said. “When police on Arizona’s streets
come in contact with them, they need to serve and protect by
asking one simple question: Are you in this country
legally?”
So-called sanctuary policies, where police refuse to seek the basic
answer on legal status, allow criminal aliens to terrorize
our communities. Phoenix and other Arizona cities refuse to
allow their police officers the opportunity to do their job
by catching criminals who break our laws, Pearce said. In
turn, police organizations have abdicated their authority by
refusing to back important legislation to crack down on
illegal aliens, Pearce said.
In Southern California, several prominent street gangs such
as the 18th Street Gang count a large percentage of illegal
immigrants among their ranks. In Los Angeles County, an
estimated 95 percent of outstanding homicide warrants are
for illegal immigrants.
A new Arizona law giving cities and counties the ability to
instruct their law enforcement agencies to detain illegal
aliens and turn them over to federal authorities will
translate into an immediate reduction in crime.
Other southwestern jurisdictions are coming to the same
conclusions, Pearce noted.
“In Los Angeles County and neighboring Orange County, law
enforcement officials have decided illegal immigration can’t
be ignored,” Pearce said. “Illegals account for such a large
number of violent felonies that agencies in those two
counties now want to ask the one basic question of residency
status.”
If SB1306 takes the handcuffs off law enforcement, Pearce
said his HCR2028 ensures those illegal aliens apprehended
after allegedly committing serious felonies stay behind bars
until their trial.
“An illegal facing a lifetime as a guest in an Arizona
prison has no incentive to await trial,” Pearce said. “Going
back to Mexico for a time only to resurface somewhere else
in the United States makes a mockery of our judicial
system.”
In Los Angeles County, approximately two-thirds of the 17,000 fugitive
felony warrants belong to illegal aliens. Clearly, they have
found a gaping loophole in our system.
Arizona has the opportunity to significantly reduce crime
and secure our border. The Legislature is on the verge of
sending Gov. Janet Napolitano a common-sense bill and asking
voters to ensure accused aliens stick around for trial.
“Passing these two measures gives law enforcement the needed
tools to combat criminal illegal aliens in Arizona like
never before,” Pearce said. “Our residents deserve these two
reforms.” Our citizens have right to expect our law
enforcement officials to eagerly engaged in this enforcement
effort.

A 'Hispanic
Homeland' could be written off as the work
of extremists were it not for wide-spread
support by Mexicans. A June 2002 Zogby poll
of Mexicans found that a substantial
majority of Mexican citizens believe that
southwestern America is rightfully the
territory of Mexico and that Mexicans do not
need the permission of the U.S. to enter.
The poll found that 58 percent of Mexicans
agree with the statement, "The territory of
the United States' southwest rightfully
belongs to Mexico." Zogby said 28 percent
disagreed, while another 14 percent said
they weren't sure.

Many media and
political elites still naively think
immigration is unconditionally good and they
do nothing to reverse the negative aspects
of immigration. Those Americans need to
wake up quickly!

Immigration reform, a recent bill proposed in the
House that wants to criminalize illegal immigrants
sparked massive protests across the country and here
in Phoenix.
"I think some of the difficulties that people
have had about this immigration issue is that people
are talking, but they're not listening to one
another," McMahon said.
Program participants included Arizona Governor
Janet Napolitano, Attorney General Terry Goddard,
Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon and Commander Kim Humphrey
with the Phoenix Police Deparment.
Napolitano said Washington, D.C. has let the
problem fester for many years "which is why people
on both sides are speaking out. We're watching with
interest to see if the Senate can move a bill . . .
But I think it's up in the air whether they're going
to get anything past that makes any sense for the
country, much less for Arizona."
When asked if there is disproportionate amount of
Latino crime from statistics alone, Lt. Humphries
with Phoenix the Phoenix Police Deparment said no.
"Actually, there's not. It's pretty reflective of
the communiity. I believe that if you actually break
down who's commiting the crimes, it's pretty
proportional across the board."
Callers, some U.S. citizens, some illegal
immigrants called into the station to air their
views and ask questions.
One caller, Andrea Hernandez, said she is a U.S.
citizen but her husband is not. "It's hard for him
and it's hard for me. I mean we're both working, we
both pay taxes, but he's not free."
She said in order for her husband to become legal
he would have to return to Mexico and stay there
until allowed back into the U.S.
Another caller, Carmen, expressed concern about
the immigration protests and debate, said she and
her parents followed that process when emigrated to
the U.S. in 1962. "I'm very unhappy about what's
happening here. My parents have paid taxes for years
and I'm very disappointed at what I see. I see
undocumented immigrants protesting on American
soil."
Carmen said everyone should follow the same
process she did. "We met the criteria. We were
required to put money in the bank. We were required
to have passports. We had background checks. We were
medically checked."
But one undocumented immigrant called in say,
though she was a Mexican by birth, she considers
herself a Mexican-American in her heart because of
her 11 years she's spent in the U.S. "And even
though my skin isn't light, my eyes aren't blue, we
all ... all of us have a similar heart," she said
through a translator. "I love very much for the
Americans for allowing me to come here to get ahead.
I have three daughters whom I've taught to love and
respect this land."
"I'm very conscious of the fact that I've
violated a law," she said. "But I think in a sense I
have paid for this by having left my child in Mexico
so that I could come here."

AUDIO:
"In the first place we should insist that if the
immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an
American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be
treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for
it is an outrage to discriminate against any such
man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But
this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very
fact an American, and nothing but an American...
There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who
says he is an American, but something else also,
isn't an American at all. We have room for but one
flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red
flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and
civilization, just as much as it excludes any
foreign flag of a nation to which we are
hostile...We have room for but one language here,
and that is the English language...and we have room
for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to
the American people." --Theodore Roosevelt, 1919
