The Flying Elephant: Evidence for Involvement of a Third Jet in the WTC Attacks

No mention of a large, commercial-class aircraft loitering in the restricted airspace of lower
Manhattan during the strikes on the WTC towers will be found in the 9/11 Commission Report.
It does not appear in any version of the Official Story. It is largely unknown even in critical
studies of 9/11. Yet substantial evidence exists to support its presence coincident with the
attacks, actually orbiting in close proximity to the towers for several minutes while the North
Tower burned and the South Tower was struck. Photography, video footage and eyewitness
accounts, including FDNY transcripts and mainstream media audio, confirm this fact.

Cluster Bombs…The Hidden Dangers http://www.islamonline.net/English/Science/2001/11/article9.shtml
The United States has used cluster bombs during bombing missions in Afghanistan. The modern cluster bomb dates back to the 1960s. It consists of a canister that breaks apart to release a large number of small bombs. A range of so-called "bomblets" can then be employed to attack different targets such as armored vehicles or people - or to start fires.

We share the country's shock and horror at the events of 9/11, and we grieve deeply for the victims of these criminal acts and for those who lost friends and family, and for the country that has lost something more intangible. We feel strongly that the perpetrators of these crimes must be brought to justice through legal means, that this is a necessary first step -- but we do take issue with the ways in which this justice is being ostensibly pursued, on both moral and practical grounds. We also feel that true justice, as well as security and peace for all of us, requires far more than punishing these criminals, and that even if military action, expanded government intelligence powers, and ceding of certain civil liberties were necessary (a position we do not hold), they would by no means be sufficient.

Media is not only reporting the war against terrorism. It has become heavily involved. In the US, media organisations like NBC were the first to be targeted by those spreading the anthrax virus. In Afghanistan, silencing the Taliban's voice and ensuring a replacement was one of the first aims of the US-led military campaign over Afghanistan. As of 13 November, this plan seemed to be succeeding, with the restoration of "normal" radio services in the key city of Mazar-e-Sharif and a few days later in Kabul itself. Radio Afghanistan in Kabul is now on the air for 3 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the evening. Television also resumed in the capital on 18 November. Broadcasts are initially for 3 hours a day.

"A Dossier on Civilian Victims of United States' Aerial Bombing of Afghanistan: A Comprehensive Accounting" http://tinyurl.com/6od9w3

Abstract. What causes the documented high level of civilian casualties---3'767 civilian deaths in eight and a half weeks---in the U.S air war upon Afghanistan? The explanation is the apparent willingness of U.S military strategists to fire missiles into and drop bombs upon, heavily populated areas of Afghanistan. A legacy of the ten years of civil war during the 80s is that many military garrisons and facilities are located in urban areas where the Soviet-backed government had placed them since they could be better protected there from attacks by the rural mujahideen. Successor Afghan governments inherited these emplacements. To suggest that the Taliban used 'human shields' is more revealing of the historical amnesia and racism of those making such claims, than of Taliban deeds. Anti-aircraft emplacements will naturally be placed close by ministries, garrisons, communications facilities, etc.. A heavy bombing onslaught must necessarily result in substantial numbers of civilian casualties simply by virtue of proximity to 'military targets', a reality exacerbated by the admitted occasional poor targeting, human error, equipment malfunction, and the irresponsible use of out-dated Soviet maps. But, the critical element remains the very low value put upon Afghan civilian lives by U.S military planners and the political elite, as clearly revealed by U.S willingness to bomb heavily populated regions. Current Afghan civilian lives must and will be sacrificed in order to [possibly] protect future American lives. Actions speak, and words [can] obscure: the hollowness of pious pronouncements by Rumsfeld, Rice and the servile corporate media about the great care taken to minimize collateral damage is clear for all to see. Other U.S bombing targets hit are impossible to 'explain' in terms other than the U.S seeking to inflict maximum pain upon Afghan society and perceived 'enemies': the targeted bombing of the Kajakai dam power station, the Kabul telephone exchange, the Al Jazeera Kabul office, trucks and buses filled with fleeing refugees, and the numerous attacks upon civilian trucks carrying fuel oil. Indeed, the bombing of Afghan civilian infrastructure parallels that of the Afghan civilian. by Professor Marc W. Herold Ph.D., M.B.A., B.Sc. Transcript of Usama bin Laden video tape http://www.cnn.com/2001/US/12/13/tape.transcript
In mid-November, Usama Bin Laden spoke to a room of supporters, possibly in Qandahar, Afghanistan. These comments were video taped with the knowledge of Bin Laden and all present. Note: The tape is approximately one hour long and contains three different segments: an original taping of a visit by some people to the site of the downed U.S. helicopter in Ghazni province (approximately 12 minutes long); and two segments documenting a courtesy visit by Bin Laden and his lieutenants to an unidentified Shaykh, who appears crippled from the waist down. The visit apparently takes place at a guesthouse in Qandahar. The sequence of the events is reversed on the tape- the end of his visit is in the beginning of the tape with the helicopter site visit in the middle and the start of the Usama bin Laden visit beginning approximately 39 minutes into the tape. The tape is transcribed below according to the proper sequence of events. Due to the quality of the original tape, it is NOT a verbatim transcript of every word spoken during the meeting, but does convey the messages and information flow.
