I am not a smoker -- last cigarette I had was December 20, 1953. BUT I am sick
and tired of our great Government ("I'm here to help you!") telling us what we
can or cannot do. They're telling us we cannot have cigarettes, we have to put
in air bags, we cannot even work our own land OR OUR OWN JOB without maybe a
hundred town/county/city/state/ Federal authorizations.
Where will it all end? Just open up your history book... Hitler and the Nazis
took the guns, then the Jews, then took the rest of Freedom-loving Germans, then
took practically all of Europe (and part of Asia and Africa). Note too, that
they staged the Reichstag Fire -- the OK City of the 1930s -- and then rounded
up people and their guns. Anyone who thinks the Govt is blameless in OK City has
been hiding his head in the sand (how come all the BATF's were out of the office
that morning?)
Why destroy our tobacco companies? During research for two histories of the
great state of West Virginia, I came across several people in their 90s and even
100 who smoked every day of their lives from when they were teen-agers. Here in
today's news is the story of Bir Narayan Chaudhuri of Nepal, a regular smoker
who died at the age of 141.
The point is, BIG GOVERNMENT, GET OFF OUR BACKS!! WAKE UP, CONGRESS!!
